Mover of the Year Award!
We are thrilled to announce that we have been presented with the CAM / Move for Hunger Mover of the Year Award!
In November, the Canadian Association of Movers met in Montreal for their 22nd Annual Conference. Our man, Gord Smith, went to accept the award on behalf of the Calgary Branch. Furthermore, this special award was presented by CAM Past Chairman Perry Thorne.
Move for Hunger selects the recipient of the Mover of the Year Award, based on the movers’ commitment, impact, dedication and enthusiasm for ending hunger in its community.
Move for Hunger is currently working with over 700 relocation companies across 50 states and Canada. They have so far delivered more than 8,000,000 pounds of food to food banks across the US and Canada. Amazingly, this translates into more than 6,666,667 meals for people in need. With figures like these, receiving this accolade for our contribution to such an amazing cause is indeed an honour.
