Food Drive in Calgary for Move for Hunger

Thanks to our fully masked-up team (Lorraine Piraux, Tami Anderson, Brenda Bressler, and Ben Thorgeirson pictured) for braving the windy weather and running a food drive in Calgary at Save-On-Foods for Move For Hunger this month. They collected 700lbs of food for Calgary Food Bank. To everyone who donated, we thank you!

We’re feeling proud to have been able to help with such an important initiative. Move for Hunger do exemplary work, alongside local food banks, helping to fight hunger throughout Canada and the US. They were kind enough to post the following video, with a special shout-out to us, and to Founder Adam Lowy’s sweet daughter!

“Thank you for assisting us with the recent food delivery/deliveries! Your team has helped transport 700 pounds of food – that’s enough to provide 583 meals for your neighbors in need! Thank you for your continuous support, especially during these unprecedented times. Your local food bank and our team greatly appreciate your help! Keep up the great work and stay well!” – Move For Hunger

The fight against hunger continues! Please consider donating to your local food bank or running your own food drive, to help support your local community during trying times. And remember, if you’re planning a move with Tippet-Richardson, we can help get your unwanted or surplus foods donated to the food bank, as part of our work with Move for Hunger!
