Last week, our Vancouver branch had a socially distanced BBQ. This coincided with a visit from Ray Abbott, our Vice President of Sales & Corporate Development. He and Vancouver GM Brad Batke made a splendid team, preparing burgers and hot dogs for the rest of the staff. Plus, fortune favoured them with some truly beautiful, Vancouver sunshine!

Food Drive in Calgary for Move for Hunger

Thanks to our fully masked-up team (Lorraine Piraux, Tami Anderson, Brenda Bressler, and Ben Thorgeirson pictured) for braving the windy weather and running a food drive in Calgary at Save-On-Foods for Move For Hunger this month. They collected 700lbs of food for Calgary Food Bank. To everyone who donated, we thank you!

Food Drives for Move for Hunger

In 2019, Move for Hunger celebrated their 10^th anniversary. And what a way to celebrate! They beat their own annual record and so provided over 3 million meals (3.6 million pounds of food) to families who are struggling with hunger! Move for Hunger motivates and coordinates companies throughout the US and Canada to host food drives and fundraising events, thus helping the more vulnerable members of our community.
